Senri Ethnological Studies (SES)

or browse
The purpose of Senri Ethnological Studies is to present the formal results of individual , inter-university, and core research projects. The series includes multiple- and single-author monographs on specific ethnic groups, regions, and themes, as well as collection catalogues for acquisitions of the museum. The series is irregular (usually about two issues per year), and the main language used English. All contributions are reviewed by a museum editorial committee.

For each article published copyright belongs to the author. However, the Museum receives the right to place the published work into a database that is open to the public through the National Museum of Ethnology Academic Information Repository (MINPAKU Repository). In each case, the Museum will indicate the name of the individual copyright holder. If any part is not suited to such release, please notify to facilitate exclusion of that part to the Committee for Research Publication at the time of first submission.
